Arrive Amsterdam by train from Arnsberg, Germany, which take almost 3 hours.
Amsterdam Centraal Station
Start our journey with local tour at Damrak. Our today program will covers Windmill ( Kinderdijk), Cheese Factory (Volendam)
Our first destination -Windmill near Kinderdijk ( “Children’s Dike”) village – after 1 hours & 30 minutes in the bus.
Kinderdijk is located at River Noord between Rotterdam & Dordrecht, which takes its name from an incident during the St. Elizabeth’s Day flood of 1421 after a child’s cradle had been stranded on the dike. The big draw these days are the fantastically preserved 18th-century windmills. Now, more than 1.000 old windmills still exist in the Netherlands.
From the windmill, we move to the next attraction – Cheese Factory Volendam.
The place is so colourful, although you are not the cheese lover, but you will end up to buy something back due to the colorful attraction.
Break for lunch at Volendam Fishing Village
After lunch, we proceed to Klompenmakerij, Woodenshoe Workshop at Zaanse Schaus which is 30 minutes drive from Volendam.
